Our purpose is to build universally designed homes that will accommodate for the special needs of those who are developmentally challenged.
Finding homes for persons with special needs can be a difficult & timely task. Many current housing options are not built to address the numerous medical & physiological needs of such individuals.
In addition, there are limited choices & long waiting lists for homes.
The heightened numbers of individuals with autism spectrum disorder ( 1 in 68 ), will continue to increase the demand for such housing.
Freedom Home of Upstate New York will offer an alternative answer to this urgent need.
The mission of Freedom Home of Upstate New York is to foster independence & provide holistic care for developmentally disabled individuals who are unable to fully care for themselves. Freedom Home of Upstate New York seeks to improve the quality of life for its residents by creating homes where each individual will have the freedom to reach his/her potential.
